After I wrote this report, I made a change to my own daily practices routine and I found that order matters A LOT. So if you decide to use both yoga shaking and deep breathing, I definitely recommend shaking first and then spend a few minutes deep breathing. Pre-school teachers who have their kids “get the wiggles out” definitely know what they are talking about. Once I “shake” and get my energy flowing, I am able to settle down into deep breathing much more easily.
